Mike Noel-Smith is an experienced and professional speaker who has delivered talks around the world on a variety of subjects. His life experiences from 16 years as an British Army Officer and 14 years a successful businessman has given Mike the tools to talk sense, with passion and extraordinary insights. Mike has been an adventurer all his life and as such, has climbed many of the world\'s highest peaks, trekked across some of the most remote areas of the world and crossed some world\'s most unpredictable seas & oceans. In fact, his interest in the world\'s oceans led him and a colleague to try and become the first team ever to row, unaided across the Indian Ocean. After some 50 days at sea and battered by tropical storms they had to be rescued by an Australian warship 2000 miles from the nearest land. the first thing Mike said when arriving back on dry land, was that he would return to finish the journey!
Mike draws on his experience as a management consultant to relate powerful messages about effective team leadership, risk, the culture of change, how we deal with failure and the power of high performing teams. He has been fortunate to have contributed to the development of many International and Elite Sports teams as well as household British and global companies.
